The Town of Volney History Center invites the public to a free presentation on "Historic Snow Storms in Volney" On Sunday March 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at Volney Town Hall. We will go back as far as 1816 and have a look at the most severe snowstorms leading up to current time. Extra emphasis will be placed on the blizzard of 1966, a snow storm that many people lived through and still recall vividly.
Town of Volney Historian, Bob Coant will lead you through a powerpoint presentation with many pictures and data of many of these snowstorms to hit this area. There will be time alloted for questions, comments, discussion and sharing of stories by attendees.
Light refreshments will be available
