Town of Volney will hold a public hearing on July 16, 2026 at 6:00 PM at 1445 County Route 6 Fulton, NY 13069 for the purpose of hearing public comments on the Town of Volney’s community development needs, and to discuss the possible submission of one or more Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications for the 2026 program year. The NYS CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR) and will make available to eligible local governments approximately $29.2 million in funding for the current program year for housing, public infrastructure, public facilities, economic development, imminent

threat, and community planning with the principle purpose of benefitting low- and moderate-income persons. The Town of Volney is applying for $2 million in CDBG funds for the County Route 3 Sewer Extension Project. The hearing will provide program

information and accept public input on proposed grant applications and alternative project ideas. The Town of Volney Town
